Drywall Tip

By nate

I just saw a drywall tip on YouTube that I wish I saw before I had finished my wall. The tip is for cutting around outlets. Most people measure/mark & cut. This dude suggested putting the drywall in place, then lean it back, grab some lipstick, put lipstick on the outside of the outlet, then put the drywall back in place and push it up against the outlet box. Now there is an outline on the drywall to cut.

good post

Dude. Lipstick and drywall cannot be used in the same sentence. I might have to revoke your man-card temporarily for this infraction.

what if i said “hey, go grab me a beer… and some lipstick while you are at it!”. manly or trashy? :-)

    Nate,

How’s it going man? The lipstick on Drywall idea is a good one. I’ll have to keep that in mind for my next project. How are things in the midwest? I hope you guys are doing well. Drop me a line sometime.

    Thanks!

    Andy
